West Coast Trip aka International Students MT
1st May - 2nd May
(NOTE: MT = Membership Training)

Welp, we trusted that Manik, Adrian & Kyumin would lead us there to safety and they did. Honestly one of the best trips I’ve had out here in Korea, everyone who wasn’t there totally missed out. I want to hug the three of them, because I LOVED IT! And no-one got hurt. Totally surprised, you’d think that a house full of 30 reckless foreign kids would end up in at least one hospital visit or someone seriously upset, but the whole weekend went without a hitch, it was awesome. Well done guys <3
Day One
We woke up stupid early and meet up at the Express Bus Terminal, with people half-drunk (oh the shame), hung-over or seriously sleep deprived. Convincing Kim that she didn’t need to take her suitcase was an early morning treat (she took it anyway)… Brigita packed the lightest I’ve ever seen anyone (it was amazing) and I did the usual last minute panic of have I forgotten anything. McDonald’s breakfast at the station was mandatory. Don’t judge me, I love their pancakes! We got on the bus (with Sari arriving as the bus pulled away) and we settled in for 2 hours of passing out. It was awesome.
When we got there, we were all pretty much excited (and it was only 9am!) to be out in the countryside with nature… and you know all that fresh air and stuffs. We ran around the house claiming rooms and couches and stuff to sleep with… I’m sure there was a better system for room allocation but whatever, all part of the fun eh?
Then came lunch (or brunch), it was edible for the most part, but we were mostly excited to go to the beach, like we had been promised… but which way was the beach..? We we even close to the shoreline? We walked for AGES, we got lost, got a ride and finally ended up at the fun time happy beach. I swam in the ocean, utter madness I know, but it was fun.
Then came the crazy BBQ funtime party where everyone passed out asleep before 11pm! Haha~
Day Two
What do you do when you spent the whole of the day before at the beach? I think you spend the next day at another beach! That’s right! Well some people went to ride ATVs but they are stupid people who likely had loads of fun (grumble grumble), but strolling on the beach was fun, watching the tide come in, writing messages in the sand.
Then it was home time and our awesome adventure ended as quickly as it had started.
