Cherry Blossom Festival
So Hull has a few trees lining the side of Cottingham road and to be honest I never paid much attention to them. I thought that it was really only in Japan that they were considered a big deal. Only to find out that they are also a big deal here too! Seriously … the weather here has been so changeable and pretty much horrible in some instances. It should be steady Spring, but its not! But I think today marked the beginging of Spring! Seeing the Cherry Blossoms was so so wonderful, I see why there is a festival for it. We spent pretty much the whole day together just wandering around enjoying the sunshine and the wonderful flowers. There wasn’t much in the way of ‘activities’ to do, but I think for the first time in a long time we all just hung out without thinking of the pressures of anything else.
